We partnered with the award adorned Melbourne based design practice DesignOffice to design a modern, minimal dining table. We proudly build this table as the nominated fabricator in both Australia and the UK. The Everyday Table, is a collaboration with long-time friends DesignOffice. Our relationship with DesignOffice goes back over two decades, to the early days of Dave working with them together in London. Dave later became an integral part of the DesignOffice’s studio in Melbourne before establishing By Dave with his partner, Emily.

This table is a natural continuation of that shared history: a piece shaped by mutual respect for craft, clarity and the quiet intelligence that good furniture brings to a room.

Designed for domestic and commercial settings, the Everyday Table is deliberately versatile. It’s a place to gather, focus, eat, create, study, and to simply be. A silhouette that is clean, considered, refined and understated.

Made in Australia and crafted in a range of solid and sustainably sourced timbers, the Everyday Table can be made in a wide range of heights and dimensions. Solid timber table tops can also be lined with Forbo Desktop Linoleum with a further option available in HiMacs silica-free solid surface. In all materials, each piece is hand-finished and precisely crafted, designed to endure and last.

You may have already seen the Everyday Table quietly at work in the world, in some of the retail stores for Mud Australia, and throughout The Commons shared workspaces. Each context and function reinforcing the table’s purpose: to support everyday rituals with grace and durability.
